  Worst experience today I have ever had!!!! I took my son for a check up & sports physical. He had a sore throat & low grade fever. The students Dr looks at his throat and says oh, its not red, but I'll tell the dr. Well the Dr comes in and does a little something but does not look in my sons ears or at his throat. He orders a flu shot, not a swab. So after they leave, I'm steaming, thinking they did the absolute least they could do. My son is in excruciating pain by now, so when the nurse comes in to give him,a flu shot, I asked her if the Dr was still there, and I explained to her that the Dr didn't even bother to look at his throat. She sends this incompetent idiot in, he didn't wash his hands, and proceeds to look at my sons throat with a pen light, not medical equipment. And tells me his tonsils aren't swollen and maybe he's recovering from a virus.Huh???? He just became feverish today & his throat has only been hurting for 24 hrs so how could he be recovering???? I am still livid. And I'm finding another Dr ASAP! After taking my son to the HOSPITAL on Saurday because he was still in pain,, we found out he indeed had swollen tonsils with pus on them and he was diagnosed with tonsillitis. He was given antibiotics to help him get better. The staff at KY One Health Southwest were absolute professionals. So grateful. He will never set foot in U of L Pediatrics Stonestreet again!!!!!
